NYC, Bear Mountain & Cold Spring

Went for 2 weeks in New York on October 2013. Stayed at my friend Sarah’s place in Brooklyn, and on the first day we decided to have a day out at Bear Moutain.

Took the train at Grand Central fairly early with Sarah and Teddy (10ish I guess), and Sarah’s workmate picked us at the station.

Once at Bear Mountain we hiked to the top to get a good view of New York though due to the weather we couldn’t see any of it.

Going down we wanted to take a bear at the Oktoberfest by the lake but the hour queue kind of put us off so we just went to a snack in Cold Spring before going back to NYC.
